Sheila Hugh Mackay Collection of Strathbutler Award Winners
In 2000, Sheila Hugh Mackay offered to donate a piece of work by each of the first five winners of the Strathbutler Award to the New Brunswick Museum.
History and Technology
The military history collection at the New Brunswick Museum effectively began after World War I and the return of veterans from overseas who donated their uniforms, weapons and memorabilia as well as captured enemy souvenirs.
The NBM houses approximately 2700 paintings, sculptures, drawings and prints that chronicle the development of fine art in New Brunswick.
