Every person’s story helps shape New Brunswick – families, friends, community groups, colleagues and team mates. It’s people who make the moments that matter. Now you can preserve these stories as part of the One Seat, One Story fundraising campaign at the New Brunswick Museum.
A New Brunswick Heritage Seat can be secured with a donation of $2,000. There is a limit of two seats per donor. Seats are limited, and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
How does it work?
Each seat in the new Auditorium will have a plaque on the back, dedicated to the name of the person, family or group you are recognizing, and a QR code that links to a special area on our website, which will host the story and photos you submit.
Visitors to the Auditorium will be able to enjoy your story while they wait for their event to begin.

This individual or group of individuals do not have to be famous or in the history books – they just have to be special to you! Please note: we strongly suggest you notify the person, or the person’s family, that you would like to honour them with this sponsorship. It is important to note that the photos and story you submit as part of this sponsorship will be publicly available on the NBM website.
A photo is worth a thousand words! We encourage you to submit up to five photos with your story. Acceptable formats: JPG and PNG. Acceptable size: 5.0 MB max per image. $2,000 CDN per seat. The New Brunswick Museum is a registered Canadian charity. A charitable tax receipt will be issued in the amount of $2000 per seat.
