Get ready to go wild about hair!
The New Brunswick Museum presents Disheveling! An ExtraordinHAIRY Exhibition, a unique and interactive journey into the fascinating world of hair. Produced by the Sherbrooke Nature and Science Museum in collaboration with Télé-Québec and Heritage Canada, this exhibit will leave you in stitches from October 5, 2019, to January 26, 2020.
Step into a shaggy setting where humans, plants, and animals show off their greatest assets – their locks, fur, and follicles! Explore the biology of hair in all its forms and functions, from the roots up (literally!). With three zones to discover, you’ll delve into the science behind hair growth, texture, and style.
“I love that this exhibit has something for everyone,” says Dominique Gélinas, Head of Exhibitions and Visitor Experience. “Curious minds can geek out on hair samples and scientific facts, while our more tactile visitors can get their hands on – or rather, in – our interactive displays.”
From the quirks of quills to the secrets of your own tresses, Disheveling! is the perfect blend of science, nature, and fun. So, come and get a little disheveled with us!
