Ongoing: Visit the Artists See Architecture display in the NBM foyer. Everything in sight and imagination can become an artist’s subject. Focused views of individual buildings; clustered houses rendered while looking out from the inside; constructions in miniature provide new perspectives on the architecture that we encounter each day. This selection of works by New Brunswick artists from 1876 to 1966 shows the changing approaches to depicting the structures in which we live and work.
This display is a glimpse of the subject of the upcoming exhibition Music of the Eye II: Architectural Drawings of Saint John and Its Region. Stay tuned for further details on the exhibition opening.
