Learn about significant sites and buildings in historic Uptown connected to European immigration to Saint John, including Partridge Island. The tour will discuss the arrival of European settlers and the architectural styles they brought with them, as well as the local stone used in the buildings’ construction and the wealth collected from industry that made it all possible.

The “Get to Know Saint John Outdoor Tour Series” presented by the New Brunswick Museum will take place every Saturday afternoon at 2:30pm beginning on July 10!
Four unique tours, lasting 45 minutes to an hour each, will tour through various parts of Uptown Saint John. Each tour will explore different themes and eras associated with the city’s natural, architectural, and social history.
All tours will begin at the John Hooper clock outside the main doors of Market Square.
