16 June Sunday 2pm: Felicity Osepchook, NBM Curator, and Beth Powning, well known New Brunswick author, will discuss Is the Writing on the Wall? Cursive writing in today’s society.
Join Felicity Osepchook for a talk on the history of cursive writing, cursive writing as an art form, its benefits, and relationship to technology, and whether handwriting is a dying art.
Followed by Beth Powning, New Brunswick author of 3 novels and 3 books of literary non-fiction, as well as articles, essays and blog posts. She will be reading original documents associated with her research, and discussing how crucial these hand written letters, diaries and records are to her work. (In English)
