11, 18, and 25 May Saturdays from 10am-4pm: Explorer Saturdays at the NBM - Museums Matter! Regular admission. Experience close-up learning through the amazing collection and stories by the NBM over the past 171 years! See bats, birds, and animals and unique heritage objects! (Bilingual)
This Week at the NBM
9 May Thursday at 7pm: Author Book Launch and Signing - Master and Madman: The Surprising Rise and Disastrous Fall of the Hon Anthony Lockwood RN Free admission. Come meet the co-author Nicholas Tracy as he reveals the spectacular true story of Anthony Lockwood’s astonishing rise and tumultuous fall. (In English)
11 and 12 May Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday noon-5pm: Mother’s Day at the NBM - Crafting with Flowers Regular admission. Dried flowers create a historic and beautiful art expression. Create a unique bookmark for Mom that will be cherished over the years! Explore the use of flowers in the art and decorative art within the NBM exhibitions. . (Bilingual)
16 May Thursday at 7pm: NBM Curator Talk - The Decline and Fall of Bats in New Brunswick Regular admission. Join NBM Curator Donald McAlpine for a presentation on the white-nose syndrome fungal infection and the state of New Brunswick’s bat population. Learn about the important role the NBM has undertaken in understanding this issue. (In English)
18 May Saturday from 10am to 5pm: International Museums Day Free Admission. Enjoy Explorer Saturday activities all day. (Bilingual)

School and Youth Groups ($2.50 per child), Adult Groups ($5.75 per person), Senior Groups ($5.75 per person), Tea and Tour Special programs ($8 per person) available by appointment. Group rates apply to groups of eight or more.
NBM Birthday Parties for all ages! Book your birthday party at the NBM to receive a fun, interactive tour of a museum gallery & room rental for your festivities. $13. Per person. Some restrictions apply for room use. Please book two weeks in advance. Call (506) 643-2349 for more information.
