New Brunswick is 225!
Celebrate at the New Brunswick Museum, Monday, August 3
Free admission for everyone!

New Brunswick is 225 years old! Celebrate at the New Brunswick Museum! Come experience some of the sights, sounds and tastes of New Brunswick with engaging gallery performances, lively musical entertainment and family fun!  Admission is free and everyone is welcome for a day filled with activities and entertainment celebrating our magnificent province.

Members from the New Brunswick Old Tyme Fiddle Orchestra will entertain you with lively jigs and reels from 1 to 3 pm. Come and see a young tap dancer, M. Alexandre Banks, who will delight you – and may invite you to join in. It’s a New Brunswick Party after all!

View the new temporary exhibition Beyond the Garden Path: Tapestry Art by Susan Vida Judah; part of the continuing series of Know Your Own Artists solo exhibitions at the New Brunswick Museum. Judah is a tapestry artist best known for large commissioned works found in public spaces. For this exhibition, Judah upholstered a collection of Victorian and Edwardian chairs with individual tapestries that she designed based on her own garden and memories of her years in Jamaica.

Stroll through the galleries and discover the riches of New Brunswick; whale skeletons from the Bay of Fundy; fossils of giant trilobites, scorpions and mastodons; and creations by New Brunswick's outstanding artists. Visit the Discovery Gallery - a special place for children to discover the stories of New Brunswick.

It’s all here at the New Brunswick Museum, Market Square, Saint John. For more information: 1 888 268 9595
