Space Still Available!

Registration Now Open for NEW Summer Day Camps at the New Brunswick Museum!

 

Summer fun is just around the corner!  To make this another memorable summer, two new and exciting summer day camps are planned for the 2010 season at the New Brunswick Museum, Market Square. MOVING AND GROOVING AT THE NBM - children entering grades 1 to 4 experience New Brunswick’s fascinating history and science through dance.  A BLAST OF BIODIVERSITY - children entering grades 3 to 5 celebrate the wonder of nature through outdoor adventures, experiments and art. Registration is now open for these unique and innovative day camps.  Call 643-2349 or 1-888-268-9595.

The camps run from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4:30 pm.  The cost of each camp is $150 (tax included). There is a 10% NBM member discount. Early drop off/late pick up is available for an additional fee.

MOVING AND GROOVING AT THE NBM!, July 12-16, Mon-Fri, 9 am-4:30 pm
Join interpretative dancer Kelli Wray, from Release to the Beat, at the New Brunswick Museum, where campers will have the unique experience to learn about New Brunswick’s fascinating history and science through dance.  From floating sea creatures, to flying birds, swaying trees, and red hot fire of molten rock - campers will think, suggest, create and design movements!  A grand finale will take place on the last day of camp.  Don’t miss this unique opportunity to enjoy the wonders of interpretive dance!  Daily outdoor adventures are planned. A BLAST OF BIODIVERSITY!, July 26 - 30, Mon-Fri, 9 am-4:30 pm
Did you know that this is the International Year of Biodiversity?  Enjoy tons of nature fun at the NBM!  Come examine the great outdoors daily to uncover and discuss the great variety of plant, bug, bird, insect, or animal we see.  Create an art mural; try some nature experiments, and more!  Children grades 3 to 5.
